Plus, haven't received my sons box of stuff or the form letter yet.

Hi, my son Austin is ship 14 div 276. Got his stuff in a box the first week after he was there. Did he send it somewhere else, or one mom though perhaps her kid just through it out, If he had a cell on him though , he would have sent that somewhere. You should have rcvd the form letter also, or they can actually have it sent anywhere, maybe another family member.

He might have sent his box to his girlfriend.ugghhh.....His granparents received a letter yesterday...his girlfriend received 3 letters today.....his younger brother and sister received one today.....but mom......nothing. I'm very hurt, but I'm trying to look at it that maybe it is just hard for him to right me. It was just me and my son for 13 years until I finally married so...we have always had a special bond, i thought......i just wrote him yesterday and today, so hopefully he will write back.

My husband is also Ship 14 Div 276. As of todays date (7-29-10) I have received his box, (like the others said within a week of him leaving) only a few letters, but I have received two phone calls, the latest was last Saturday. He has told me that they only have free time for a few hours (sometimes) on Sunday mornings which is also their only time to study, and they have A LOT to study and learn. Hopefully your son is just studying hard, and making sure he does the best he can on his tests so he doesn't get held back. I hope this helps, and I hope you hear from him soon.
