Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Emma- According to my sons recruiter he is on this ship as well. Did you get the form letter or did you call the recruiter. We did not get the letter yet. Faith

My son Kyle is also on ship 6 div 922 waiting for the form letter still

Hi Kat525! I called Isaac's recruiter this morning again to see if he could give me a PIR date. He says that they don't give those out until about week 5. Then he said count the Friday after he arrived as week one then count 8 or 9 weeks and that is when his PIR date will most likely be. I still have not received the form letter. I got the address from his recruiter yesterday.

I also have a son on Ship 06 Division 922. Got the box yesterday, but no form letter yet. My best guess is April 16th for PIR, but that's pure speculation on my part.

If anyone hears a real PIR date, please post it.
