Site Enhancements Coming Tonight: New Media Players & Chat!

Hello N4M Members!

If you log on later this evening you’ll notice some changes taking place on our site. Ning will now be offering redesigned video, photo, and music players for all of you to use. Not only will they be customized to match the look of our community, but they’ll also have new features!

There’s also going to be a huge update to Chat! Instead of visiting the Chat tab, you will now be able to chat from anywhere on the site. The Chat window will be at the bottom of every page so you can keep chatting while you visit other pages.

Another tiny change, but one that might be a relief to some moms: you will no longer be required to add an image when you create a Group or Event.

Read more and see a visual preview of what’s to come by visiting Ning’s Blog.

I'm having the same problem with getting into Chat Kathleen-Ma of Jonis. I was also having a problem with a pic disappearing when switching around on here but would come back when I clicked out of the site and back on again. I'm sure Ning is working on all the issues.

Anna, same thing happened to me earlier when all my pics disappeared on my page. I clicked out of the site and came back on again. It was fine after that. I thought it was my other computer giving me problems.

Karen,
Thanks for the suggestion. This has been going on for several days now - I keep thinking one of these days when my page comes up the pictures will be there. Actually they are still there - I can open the photos but they don't show up on the page like they used to. And I still don't see anyone else's pictures when I go to their page. Any idea how to find tech support on this site???

Anna, I believe all you can do is contact Elle. We just may have to be patient while Ning works through the issues.

Sheila--they pull the sailor's teeth as a precaution. Should your sailor be called for deployment, they want to be sure they do NOT experience any wisdom teeth eruptions when there is not an oral surgeon available to help at that time. And yes, they all get the boot camp "ricky crud" from a combination of being in contact with so many new people, new germs, things like stress, and all the changes they go through. Take care and know that your son had a lot of company in the same shape, and the Navy will help them pull through. Be sure and join the boot camp moms page if you have not already.

Thank you Elle,
I am working with Ning now. So far nothing has worked but I'm trying one more thing before getting back to them. I will keep you posted. Thanks for the form info - I'll keep that in mind.
