So me and my navy sailor were married July 16th. he left home in january for boot camp and went to A-school. I got to see him graduate and basically got 10 days with him for our wedding then he was off again. We have been married a month and 2 days so far and its hard. We are going through a nasty custody battle with my sons father right now. And I can't even talk to my husband about it because he is on deployment right now. So I get an email or two a week and just basically suck it up and pretend that I am ok to him. I am trying very very hard to be positive. My husband is my support group, you know? He keeps me strong, encourages me. I know I am a strong woman. I have been through alot in my life. But I guess I wanted to enjoy being a newlywed before all this drama started. Now its here and I feel alone. And its not my man's fault. He's providing for his family and fighting for his country. Just hard. I know that this is the life we chose. And I don't regret one moment of that decision. I am just ready for something good to happen. I need a hug. haha.

ladyhamilton, that picture is pretty funny, and true! haha! Yes. This is the life we chose, and I know who I married. This isn't forever. Its only temporary. We will get through it no problem. We have always had such a strong bond that nothing can separate us. But my son is what worries me. Its scary dealing with the idea that I may be stuck in the state of illinois and not be able to go to VA to be with my husband when he is home. I don't want to live here. But I may not have a choice. Life sure is not fun sometimes, but I am enjoying the rollercoaster as much as I can.

So the court thing may be going in my favor. We find out if he accepts a settlement today so i can atleast move to virginia to be with my man. Very nervous. Also my sister finds out today if she possibly has cancer. Just wondering when all of this craziness is going to subside. Just when one thing is looking up another crisis appears. God I just want to feel like I can breath for a sec before you pile another one on please! I know you got a plan but....seriously.

*huuuugssssss* You are one strong lady to keep your head high in all of this.....so if you need a breather (and a breather for me is a good hard cry until my nose bleeds) everyone can look the other way :D
I hope things are okay with your sister. And try to remember....the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.
p.s. Where in VA is your husband going to be? My fiancee is going to Norfolk in October.....and if all goes well I'll be hitched and in Norfolk as well next May.

Thanks for the advice "ronspatricia" I actually went to a mercy me concert last night and boy did I let it out. All day yesterday I think every little thing reminded me of him and I would just start to cry. I did it in the grocery store over some food we used to eat together all the time and almost lost it in the frozen section. I feel better today now thou. LOL Your right, I needed a breather to let it all out. I do feel better now.

He will be in Norfolk. We are hoping to look in the Virginia Beach area to live. This silly judge needs to hurry up and make up his mind so I can get up there asap before they leave again.
