Well my daughter left on 03/06/11 and she made her one call once she got to the base. It was so said because she said she was ok but she would not be able to talk to me for 3 weeks. We talk everyday and she tells me everything. I got her bo yesterday and she put a note telling me she loves me. If you could have heard her she sounded as lost as i am . One week down 2 more to go. Please tell me this gets easier.

Our son graduated last week.....believe me, it's worth all the wait and tears.  She will be fine, I promise.  It's her journey, just support her the entire way.  Keep your phone close, I believe I wore mine as a daily accessorie. Read her letters with pride and when she calls, be strong and let her do the talking.  PIR will be here soon.  Take care and keep us posted.

Wow she is amazing. I hope mine does as much as yours has done. I know she has alot plan she wanted to cook since she has loved cooking all her life, but she is very happy with the job that she got. Hope she get some schooling and meets someone nice. She has a friend here that is going no where in life and does things that she does not like. Smoking and other things. Your daughter sound so wonderful. Good luck to her in the future. Congrats on her marriage.
