I have to say I was shocked to see the box on the porch!  He just got to GL on 3/28/12.  Didn't smell to bad and I didn't cry until the dog crawled in the box like he was looking for him.  So, now i'm sad.

Yeah Joliet, IL.  About an hour and a half away.  I know it's gonna be good, but it's still hard.  I'm hanging tough as long as I don't look at the dog sitting in the box........lol!

My daughter went there 3/27... I just got my box today also on my front Porch when I got home from work... I had a total meltdown :-(.

My daughter arrived in GL on 3/26 (late at night).  Got the 30 second call that night @ around 10pm.  Got the box on Thursday (on my porch, I live in NY) and haven't heard anything since. Did you get the ship and division # yet?  I'm still waiting for her recruiter to get back to me - have texted, called, texted again (2x) - LOL - he must be thinking I'm too pushy.  I can't wait to get her address so I know where to send the letters I've written and be able to tell the rest of the family and her friends where to write to her.....

Yeah I got that 30 sec phone call at 1:00 in the morning.  I have not received anything other than the box.  Her recruiter said that I could call him on Wednesday and he most likely would have her ship # and address.  I see on here sometimes it is better to wait for the letter from them to make sure it is the right address.  He also said he may know the possible date of graduation.  I am so ready to get her address too.  I have written her every day and doing what everyone said was good and numbering them.  I miss her terribly.

Me too, Lisa.  I miss her so!  Hmmm, I also just read here that it's better to wait for the form letter that the SR sends us rather than rely on the address that the recruiter will give us. I agree, maybe I should just be patient and wait - Thanks!

She's an MU so she'll go to the School of Music in VA.  What about your daughter?  I hope they get to meet

Comment by Lisa on March 31, 2012 at 2:13pm
