Update on my husband!!

Ok now i'm able to sit down and share what my husband wrote:

 

Friday Dec. 31, 2010

 

He says that he received all my letters from Dec. 14th-20th and has been reading them and enjoying the card and pictures. He's sorry about the letters jumping around, they've been sooo busy the past 3 weeks.

He really misses us but the letters I sent him give him strength to keep going.

 

He's learning a lot in RTC. He says that he's blown through all the tasks his RDC's put in front of him (that's my man! :) ) The first day was the worst b/c of no sleep and people yelling at you from everywhere. P-Days were extended b/c of Christmas. He passed his swim test and his written test is coming up and he's been studying on it. He's doing well on his running and he got his blue cami's and he loves them.

 

He told me he reads his Bible every night (I asked him about that in one of my letters) and his walk with God is stronger than ever before :D He's only seen the sun once since he's been there and he thought of me... He told me he's sorry for not spending every moment with me and realized how much he loves me and cherishes me (I boohooed like crazy while i was reading that)

 

He wants me to look for apartments around his A school b/c we wont get housing b/c his school is only 3 months andhe  also set up the account for our pay checks to come in, hopefully the 15th for the latest.

He says he wants more pictures of me (i gave him pics of Leah throughout my letters) and he wrote a whole page of how much he misses me and promises me that he will treat me better as a wife (tears flowing like a river whiler eading that)

 

He's the 3rd or 4th tallest person in his DIV and can make his bunk for 5 1/2 mins. He found out he can shine his boots very well, he has the shiniest boots hin his DIV. One of his RDC's said he'll give a 15 min phone call to the person with the boots so shiny that he could see himself in them, he's working towards that :) He says he hasnb't been yelled at yet :) and is one of the top recruiits in his DIV, so they're ahead of the game :) but still graduating on the 18th.

 

He says hi to Kevin and that the food is great (lol) and that boot camp is easier than he expected (thanks to his dad lol) he really appreciates that his dad prepared him for this, and that he's doing so well. He also says thanks to my mom and dad for letting me and Leah live with them while he's at bootcamp. and says Happy Birthday to his brother Jacob  He says that everyone in his DIV knows me and Leah and shares pics to them whenever he can :) even to the RDC's and brags about me to them :D

Get to write Tuesdays and Thursdays now so that means more letters! Things are going good here, the phone call was a life saver! Gave me a huge boost and I stayed all night last night replaying your voice in my head. Looking forward to getting some picts of you. I miss you. How's my baby girl? I know she's getting big. I can't wait to see her. I hope you're playing that bear to her. It's going to break my heart if she doesn't remember me :(

I want you to buy the DIV shirt, I made it :) I finally got you Jan. 4th letter, they take so long to send them :( I love you so much.

Took a nice long shower and it felt amazing! lol! I'm feeling better over my cold. We got the paper work to buy shirts. I'm getting you one and myself a hoodie (you can use it) :)

I miss you and Leah so much. Pray for me I have my PFA and my 2nd inspection on Friday (Jan. 21). 34 days left :) getting closer.

 

 

 

 

I got 2 letters today woo hoo! Dated Jan 20th and 23rd..

He said its going by really fast and are starting their 4 days. Did the Marlinespike and passed it. Other than that its pretty same o same o stuff. He's beggins me to send him pics of me lol (he has noo idea what awaits for him lol)

He made a 5.0 on his 2nd inspection, PI and WTI, Passed his 2nd PFA, and thought about me throughout his run and helped a lot. :) and lost a lot of weight. They were on 4-2 on Monday, the 24th. Got his haricut and looks spiffy and have 19 days till BS21!!!!

 

Then wrote a paragraph how much he misses us and thanks God for this opportunity and would do this over and over and over again if that meant that me and Leah are taken care of. We are his world :)

He got 2 letters from his mom. Its good to hear from them. We are on out way to being a CNO DIV maybe even Hall of Fame :) We are doing so good for a bunch of DumsDums (I want Gum Gum lol!) My mom sent a pic of you and Leah from Christmas eve. YEAH!!! Its a good one of you. You are so pretty, beautiful smile. Got drill tomorrow. If we get a 4.8 we gat an hour phone call and a soda and a candy bar :) If we get 4.5 on our 2nd test we get a pizza party so we are working hard. I miss you so much. Shot a handgun for the first time today and a shotgun, it was fun and did good.

23 days

 

Hey love

   Alot has happened the past few days. Found out we are on track for Hall of Fame DIV. :) Got pics taken. I ran for 20 mins straight. And only 15 or 14 days till Battle Stations. We are on 4-5 Day. Tomorrow is 5-1 wow time has flyed. Gos is using me here in amazing ways people are asking me for help with life problems. You wont recognize me spiritually lol. I am a happy servant to a good God. I love you so much and miss you. The end is so close but this is just the beginning. I hope you're taking care of things on your end b/.c once I'm out of here things are going to move fast ok. The RDCs are starting to relax on us. We passed Drill now we can march on our own :). I'm calling you on Saturday!

20 days!!!!!

Hey Babe,

   Sorry I didn't call you Saturday. We have a RDC who hates us. I know RDCs are suppose to be hard but he is just mean. (Mentioned name, but not gonna post for confedentiality) His life purpose is to make our life suck. So he canceled it. 11 days till Battle Stations. We get a phone call after that. So...Am I ever going to get pics of you?? Only got 3 weeks (less).

   Got a busy week this week. Hopefully a fst one.

   My dad wrote me. It was nice. He said he isn't going to make it :( If your dad wants to come he can and ask Jake OK.

   I miss you so much. I love this pic I have of you and Leah at Christmas. I'm looking at it right now. Leah is so cute. Wow your words can't explain how beautiful you are. Babe I can't wait to be reunited with you.

My son is in the same division and said the same about the RDC who hates them. He said he doesn't know how he lives with himself that he is so mean!  Glad they are all doing good and they almost have this trying time
