Got my 20 second call on monday.  Got my kid in a box on Thursday, Now all I am waiting on is an address.  I promised my son I would write him as much as possible, told him I would try to write him a letter every day.  Well I have been writing a letter every day.  However, these letters are sitting on my nightstand waiting for an address.  I am hoping he is so busy that he doesnt eventually notice that letters aren't coming yet.  I have read time after time how important letters from home are.  And feel so frustrated that I can not mail mine.  I have so many friends and family waiting to mail him letters and they keep calling asking for the address which really isnt helping matters at all.

I have a friend who is part of Soldier Angel if you know of anyone who doesn't receive letter or just needs more support let me know and I will give you some contact info.  She and a few of her friends that are with this  wonderful organization would love to write any soldier in need of a little more support. ( Not sure if I am allowed to put something like this up on here so if not let me know and I will remove.)

Your son's address will come in a form letter and you should receive it in the next couple days.  His correct address is on that sheet along with a lot of other information.  Good Luck! I received my box 1 week after he left and the letter the next day.  You should keep your eyes open, it will come.

I know when Ben was in boot camp last year at this time, his recruiter had an address for us within a few days that he was there. Knew all that before his box & form letter came to us. We were able to get letters sent to him by the end of the first week. Check with his recruiter. He may be able to get one for you. It doesn't hurt to ask.
