OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

090829-N-1557B-012 GREAT LAKES, Ill., (Aug. 29, 2009) More than 4,750 recruits and staff members from Recruit Training Command spell out "Go Navy!" in front of the USS Iowa headquarters building at Recruit Training Command for a photo to be aired at this year's Army-Navy football game Dec. 12. (U.S. Navy photo by Dustan Burke/Released)

This year we'll need the help of 10 - 15 enthusiastic moms at the Army-Navy Game! We're setting up a NAVYForMoms.com table at Lincoln Financial Field and are looking for members to join us in passing out balloons to the crowd, handing out information about N4M, and distributing your business cards (the N4M ones you can download and customize here) to interested attendees!

The game is on December 12th in Philadelphia. Kickoff is at 2:30 and we'll be set up from 10:30 to a little after half time. Shifts will be from 10:30 to 1:00 and then 1:00 to 3:30.

Extra perk - our volunteers will actually get tickets for the game! (One ticket per person)

If you're interested in helping, please send me a Private Message with your name and a phone number we can reach you at and the shift you are interested in working. We'll need to know by Tuesday afternoon (11/24) and we'll be deciding on a first come first serve basis!

Go Navy!
