The box and letter finally arrived on 6/26/2014. My stepson headed to BC on June 17, 2014. I'm happy that we finally have an address and a PIR date. He is in SHIP 02, DIV 940, which means that he must be part of the performance group...I think. PIR date is 8/15. My stepson is part of a blended family, so he has way more than 4 people who would love to watch him graduate. It's a complicated family. He has two moms, one stepmom, a girlfriend, a grandfather, and twin 13 year old sisters who want to attend. I will drive up with his mom but watch the graduation from the hotel.
I plan to write informative letters. Mainly, I want him to think about what he wants his mom to bring for him to take to GC and tell him how proud we are of his choices.
,The BOX...I was excited to see it on my table when I got home from work. Then, I wanted to cry a little. My baby!! That's all I get right now?? A BOX?? LOL!! What a mommy I am! He's a grown man, knock it off silly! He also left for BC on 6-17, and is in SHIP 9, DIV 254. I have no idea when his PIR date will be yet. The info should come in the mail any day now. I have never been to Chicago so this will be an adventure. I am bringing my son's wife and little daughter, and my little daughter. GIRL TRIP!! We are so excited to see son/hubby/big brother/daddy!!
