had a wonderful day today with my family only 2 more saturdays left til michael leaves going so quickly we went to Pea Ridge a civil war battlefield in Arkansas then a wonderful picnic thanks to my mom. Its amazing how i feel so many mixed feelings I feel so sorry for him though his father has no interest and his other set of grandparents are just as bad we were making plans to go see them but they had other plans so one of my awesom friends came up with the idea of putt putt , a movie (expendables 2), bowling and yes is fav place golden carroll next saturday in branson to show him we love and care about his future. I love my scout family. and my parents who have stood by every decision their grandsons have ever made.
Great pictures! Enjoy the next two weeks with him! Oh and hug him as much as you can before he leaves! ;)
Tenacious Dee Tell your son Thank you for what he is about to do for our country.I know how proud you are of him.Stay strong SR and know you are one of the best there is!!!!!!!!!
My son left Tuesday, Sept 4th. Had a party on Saturday, the 1st with friends and family. Friends could not stay away all weekend. The were there until the very last minute that he went with the recruiter on Monday to MEPS. Sad, but wonderful to see soooo many people wishing him well and thinking the world of him. Hard day yesterday and still today. Cannot wait to get a letter or even better a phone call in 4 weeks. Good Luck to your recruit.
