You may want to see the discussion, Just Wondering.... (clickable link).

Join the group, PIR 10/19/2012 TG 49, to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR.  Divisions 339 and 340 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.

You may also wish to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Mom's, PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here.

My son also graduates on october 19th. Hes in ship 14 division 343! I booked rooms at the ramada. I recently met someone whos child graduated several years ago and they said they looked into most of the hotels in the area. They said that they do a wonderful meet and greet for the families. They also have a shuttle to the graduation. As far as price wise they are probably the middle of the road. I hope this helps!!

We are staying at the Ramada for PIR on Oct. 19th, too. Our son is on Ship 11, Div 339.  Good price, I thought, plus the shuttle to graduation. I was surprised that the disc discount graduation rate was more than one of the other discounted rates so really check out all the discounts available. I'm so excited to go to graduation!

We stayed in a hotel a couple miles away from bootcamp, I believe Waukegan. This area was a little rough. However, about 10 miles out near Gurnee was much better.
