Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

the hardest thing i ever did was sign the papers to let my son join the navy. i am a marine. i was so proud when he graduated last year and got his letter to go off to seal training. he was following in his dad and grandpa footsteps . 3 days before he left off for seal school he was killed by a drunk driver. i didnt even get to say goodbye. i miss him everyday, so all mioms make sure that  you tell your kids everyday weither you are happy with their decion that you are proud of them i am unsure if he knew

Those are some wise words of advise, and they are for dads also.  I am so sorry for your loss.

OMG Im so sorry for your loss keep you in my prayers and Im sure your son knows How Proud You Are of Him he knew the Moment you signed the paper for Him to follow his Dream. Its very unfortunate what happenned to Him but he is in Gods Arms now and will always be at your side as your Angel protecting His Mom and Dad. God Bless you and your Family especially around these Holidays which will be Hard-My Blessings

I am so sorry I lost my brother in 67 Army but kill car reck on his way to the base being ship out to VN and then in 90 my son calls me while I was out of town to tell me he is joing the Navy on the Delayed program I said over my dead body but best thing to happen to him after all the tears and fights and now my grandson miss him like hell I pray everyday but it is there dream you see  my brother inlisted of his own free well so we support them and love themI will keep you in my prayer  as I know hugs are not enough but Know I will always remember your post as I think of my grandson thank you for sharing we are not along
