Thanks for the welcome.  Hope to figure out navigation of the site for more use.  My son is ship 03, div 338, PIR on 10/12/12. Looking forward to seeing the sights when we fly in.  Any suggestions of places to see would be greatly appreciated, as we have never been to Chicago area. L

Thanks for showing your support during this very difficult time for me and I really enjoy Navy for Moms and I am so happy for all the Moms that have been where I am now and they have been so helpful and since I have so many questions. I really appreciate the Moms that made this web site possible and I can't thank you enough!  Thanks for suggestions on the sites that I need to refer to and if you have any advice for a Newbie with two going in please let me know. Maybe when my son leaves in December I'll be a lot more informed thanks to Navy For Moms!

My son has been gone one week today, I am very proud, yet will admit that I'm also feeling the "blues" The great thing about Navy for Moms is,  I know I am not alone, and that is a great comfort all in itself.  Thank you.

Thank you for the welcome letter and the great links...especially the one on "Community Guidelines" - so many things you don't think of as being a risk, or violation.  I will certainly put your information to good use...Thank you again!

Thank you for the welcome.  I am about to send a care package and am not sure of the rules:  weight of the box, what type of box, and the contents rules:  Is there a place that I can find out before I try to ship the things to her on her ship?
