Hey yay! Thanks for the info thats good news lol. On my end theres really not much to say my SR is a men of few words lol. All I know is that he has made alot of friends, lol.
Hey I hope your having a blessing day. Dou you know if the Div our love ones are in is having any problems because I have not receive a letter since the first time I receive my SR's first two letter. This was on august 30th and I have been reading post in this website who their SR's have call them and send them letters during this week. I am frustrated because I don't know what to do or think. Help please.
HI, love your family photos !! So awesome, good looking group you have there !! So hoping for a call or letter this coming week, if not for those two very short calls, I would have zero contact from Taylor....Just makes me sad, but I know there are alot of people praying for our SR's, but this waiting is ruff!! I cannot wait till this is over !! Hope you have a great week !!
Hi! still no letter here, but sure hoping I'll get one tomorrow! I guess it just depends on the person over the division on when they get to write or call home... I was lucky enough to get to talk to Taylor a couple times last week because they needed addition info for his clearance, he sounded terrible the first call but was like himself on the call I got from him last Friday.. I know this has to be so hard for them... I know how hard it is for me and I'm at home ! This makes me have even more respect for our military, that is for sure !
Congratulations, We got our first letter too! Wow, He seemed so much more mature in 2 wks :) he got out 4 letters to his Girlfriend, all arriving yesterday as well. I'm not an emotional one, but the tears of pride after reading..., what can I say. His job is night watch with a gun, I promise He will protect his Division and Your Son before Himself.
Stay strong, this is tough on Us, tougher on them, and I think the best thing that My Son could have ever done for Himself and His Future.
Have a wonderful Day, I know I'll be walking on water--full of Navy Pride!
Having a fasting blood test today so the water thing is quite literal, LOL.
Maybe it'll stick with em... I can't wait for a real letter, I just hope whatever he says in his letter won't worry me even more. I don't even know what i'm worried about! I'm praying so much and so constantly that God is probably like, "hey, i've got other people to deal with ya know"
Oh yay I'm glad you got your box! I am so hoping I get at least the box and maybe the letter tomorrow. I have called his recruiter a couple of times to get his address but she hasn't called me back! Aarrgh!! Thanks for the support...I don't know how I would get through this without all of you ladies being here with me!
Hi! Yes, this is my day 2, also, this has to be the hardest thing I have ever gone thru, I miss him so much!! I got the "I'm here" call on Wednesday night at about 11:30.... It is just sad, not sure how I'm going to handle getting "the box".... But what can we do, I'm so proud of him yet so sad, too... I had a melt down when I came home on Tuesday, this house is too quiet.... But I snapped out of it and just keep going, am really, really hoping for a phone call but I know that is most likely not to happen... Hey, but I can dream, right? :) Yes, that would be awesome to meet at PIR !! Take care.. Karen
Hi. Just wanted to say how your name catches my attention. My oldest son's name is Brandon. It is my middle son that has joined the Navy, and therefore I am KWLs Mom. And my youngest son was born in 94. :) I got the "I'm here" call a week ago. Wow, I've already survived one week.
Hi Brandon's Mom, I'm Karen.... My son also leaves Aug 14 for bootcamp from Fayetteville Arkansas.... This site is great but has be kind of confused, I don't think I've messaged you yet but if I have, so sorry !! just wanting to connect with other Moms that have the same date to look forward to as we do ! Take care !
Hi Brandon'sMom my son graduated tonite from bootcamp and I was unable to attend. We had a few problems and one was plane was delayed and then the plane we were supposed to board had problems with landing gear and cancelled flight. I mention all
that because one of the SR's and family was kind enough to spend the day with my son so he could enjoy liberty before leaving tonite for A school. So I would love to do the same for SR who has no one to write them. Please email me the info thanks.
