Hi Barb! How nice to put a name with your face! I am at work and I suppose you probably still are also. I will give you a call later this evening. I had a great time at dinner last night with my girlfriends. They all wanted to hear the latest on Christopher as they have known him since he was 2! It is really good to have some down time. Try to remember to take care of yourself also! Sending you a hug,
P.S. I added you to my phone contacts. I also forgot to answer your question...my Sailor graduates on June 29th!!! Only 16 more days! I am waiting on the "I am a Sailor" call! I know we don't get that until the final week, but I am really looking forward to it!
Thank you for commenting on the pictures of Chris! I really appreciate that! I added them yesterday (while I was at work...MY BAD!) Your Christopher is a very good looking young man. Was he born in 92? My Chris was born in June of 1993. He just had a birthday on June 2...while at boot camp! I am meeting some of my girlfriends for dinner tonight, but I would love to give you a call after that. Would that be ok with you? We can miss our Chris' together! Have a great Day! Smile because you know that he has thought about you already several times today!
Thanks so much for the encouragement! I appreciate your response. I just finished writing his 1st letter and was surprised that I completed 4 pages! :) I can't wait to be able to get them in the mail.
Hi Barb... Great to meet you! I am thrilled to make connections here. So do you live in MN now? Or WI? Are you planning to attend any Meet and Greets pre-PIR? Would love to meet some Moms. My SR is my only son also, and my youngest. I have two daughters older, both getting married this year, and they are sad that their baby brother will most likely not be at their weddings. He was supposed to be IN both weddings. So between weddings and Navy graduations, it's a pretty busy year for us!
