Hi Karen! Sorry I didn't reply sooner to your e-mail. I did respond, but apparently it didn't go through. Anyways, we will be driving to PIR on Thurs. from SD and I think it's going to take us about 9-10 hrs. So I'm hoping we can make it to Sarge's meet & greet. But I would love to be able to meet you too! We are staying at Springhill Suites. When are you leaving to go back home? We are planning on going to the airport to see him off too. so maybe we could meet then if not before.
Thanks for the advice. Hanging in there. It's just been frustrating when things like that happen and you don't have proper communication to discuss it and figure out what to do next and what I need to do. But I know PIR is coming soon and that will all make it better and we'll be able to talk and clear everything up. I need to start getting used to it. And remember its not going to be easy whatsoever. Anyways, thanks again. Xo
Hey thanks for the add! So nice to meet you....I look forward to maybe seeing us at graduation..you're not that far from me! I'm about an hour from Reading....how are you going to PIR....driving or flying? Did you make reservations yet??
yes we definitely need to be in touch with each other. I thought I was doing good until today. I got his box and form letter on Monday. I am totally comfortable with where he is and that he is safe. I just want to know that he is good mentally. i am worried that he is sad. If I knew he was okay mentally I would be good I think. I just want to know he still has a sense of humor.
i know im trying to stay calm and strong for him. its hard but ill be ok. but yea I have been writing and numbering they are all ready to send out just waiting for the address, and i hope he dont get in trouble because he is going to get so many at one time... sister is great came home yesterday with her new baby boy =)
Hi Karen, My son Nigel is ship 13, division 366 also and will be going for Damage Control after boot camp. Looking forward to getting to know others in same division. Got his box tonight and I have to say I was excited to open itl brought me happiness just to look at his dirty clothes in the box. That's a mom for you right?
My son is in A School at Great Lakes and graduated 6/29 from Boot Camp. You must be going through a tough time, I remember how hard it was at first. My cell phone is 610-308-2426. I would love to get together. You can feel free to call me evenings and weekends it you would like to talk, have questions.

I see that your son is in boot camp. Is he going to be a Nuke? My son has been in the Navy for 4 years and is an EM Nuke on the USS Pasadena (a sub). If you have any questions about Nukes or want to talk, just let me know!!
Thanks for joining us! You will have a lot of fun and meet some terrific moms. Pat
I'm so sorry you didn't get your call. If it's any concellation to you, mine was litterally 5 seconds and I didn't even get anything out of my mouth before he had hung up... except a "hello'' whent he phone rang, but I am sure it's just part of knowing that they are there. I started some letters as well, can't wait to get the address. I am kind of dreading the day that we get the "box", i think the tears will come again when that happens.
