Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

All Hands Magazine's full length documentary "Making a Sailor": This video follows four recruits through Boot Camp in the spring of 2018 who were assigned to DIV 229, an integrated division, which had PIR on 05/25/2018.
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video:"Importance of Navy OPSEC."
Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass isno longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Merry Christmas! I am glad he is getting stationed closed to your family. My Brother is in Virginia Beach. So he is really far from us but he is loving it there. How is the baby?

That is good he can get leave so close to your due date. You better post pictures when your baby gets here. Everything is good for me and my brother. He is doing fine loving the Navy!
well he can get a leave but then he will be set back in school so we prefer he just finish but he is eligible for 10 day leave withn year of baby bein born so around time he get station he may take it
Hello Sam. My husband just graduated from BC this weekend he is also a submarine MM. He is in BESS right now. did you go to the graduation? When did he find out his next orders? is he doing Weapons or Aux? is it just A school and thats it for MM? Im sorry for so many questions its just we are in the same boat however your days ahead of me im expecting and my babys due Oct 15. How long is his A school are you moving up there with him?
Chad was at the airport at 4 am so we met him there also to say good bye. But it went well sad but good. He is really happy with what he is doing. I just need to stop being such a big sister and let him go :). My mom set him his phone and computer today so we should get to talk to him tomorrow. He does get on facebook so I have been in communication with him he is in CA. When are you due?
Thanks for the info. I'll be sure to have my phone with me at all times :) Im not missing another call in my life lol!! If you hear anything else let me know. My boyfriend wasn't specific about the dates on BS21 so I am glad that someone knows. :)
Congrats on the baby! We have our tickets and everything also out of the way. I did not get a call but he called My mom, dad and his girlfriend. He said they were all doing great! I am sorry you missed your call.. He did say they might get a chance to call again sunday!
