Happy Thanksgiving Alice! Think we can be lucky enough to get another call today? We did get letters yesterday which was nice. I am new to the site too... it can be confusing! I am starting to see more and more moms with kids in the same ship and div so that is good.

Hi Alice   Its nice to meet someone else whos son or daughter is on ship 11 Div 055.  I did get to talk with my son on Saturday morning and I hope you have gotten to hear from your loved one.  I am new to this site and am unsure how to navigate it at this point but I too want to be involved

Hi Alice, I checked and yes your comment was right where you wanted it!! It can be a little confusing at the start but stick with it and you will get the hang of it quickly.

You can send a message on the Molly's Adopt A Sailor group page and maybe more moms from NJ will be there!

Welcome to Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) for information on what to expect and to help you prepare for PIR. Join group DEP-Leavin for bootcamp in November to connect with others with loved ones who left the same day and may have PIR together. What is your SR's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.

we're in Clifton, up north near the Meadowlands.  One of my friends is moving to Little Egg Harbor and another lives near there, it's nice, hope you didn't have Sandy damage.  You'll get his letter with his PIR soon, the "kid in a box" is so hard to deal with, isn't it?
