Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

All Hands Magazine's full length documentary "Making a Sailor": This video follows four recruits through Boot Camp in the spring of 2018 who were assigned to DIV 229, an integrated division, which had PIR on 05/25/2018.
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video:"Importance of Navy OPSEC."
**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).
**UPDATE 8/25/2022 - MASK MANDATE IS LIFTED. Vaccinations still required.
**UPDATE 11/10/22 PIR - Vaccinations no longer required.

Hi Cristy, how are you and Mario? My son came home July 5. He graduated July 3 , then drove back to Cali by himself with an old car. He's so daring! Now , he flew to Jacksonville , Florida for C school.- 1 month, then he will be stationed in San Deigo according to the written order .God willing, Brandon and Mario will be together in San Deigo.Hopefully , Brandon will be in SD on the mid of September.

Hi Cristy , how's your Mother's Day . I hope you a had blast! OMG ! It's so hot today, 100 degrees here. How's in your city, I think it's cooler coz your near in the beach, right? Anyway, I'm gonna ask you if you told your son about the study materials for AD,if Brandon can borrow it or photo copy? I spoke to my son today, he saw Mario today, but he's hesitant to ask him coz probably he's not aware that Brandon will ask the study materials. My son is shy when it comes to ask a favor. He said to me , Mom , pls ask Cristy if he talk to Mario already. Oh boy, he's still a kid Cristy.
Yes Cristy, I would never forget this Mothers Day- the best ever! It's okay, my son is broke too, but he tried to save something for this occasion. But it's okay, Mario is doing well at school. By the way, Condolence, everything will be fine for him. He's working really hard about his schooling. In the future, he will... Now my son is not there yet in A school. I hope he will study hard like Mario. That's my concerned now. Coz what I've noticed in Psacola , too much destruction for them in schooling. We will see... Hopefully they will do good.
Hi Cristy, OMG! Yesterday , I recieved a mother'a day gift from my son. I never expect that. It's a diamond stud earrings and necklace .He is so adorable . I told him , It's fine for me a card. It's says in the message "my Medal of Honor"- that's so expensive gift more than 1 thousand. I felt bad coz u know how much his pay check. I cried- the message is so touching. That's why he did not call me for almost 2 weeks, I'll most to ask you if your son is like that. I'm started wondering whats going on with him. I'm a little worried. But because of that , he just want me to surprise. Anyway, Happy Mother's Day !!

Can you pls tell your son to advise my son to study hard. I think your son is more matured...I hope they will meet soon. Do you have any idea when your son graduate in A school? Hi Cristy, I don't when I can go to Pensacola to visit my son. I would love to go soon but because of my work, it's hard to take off plus the tickets coz my daughter would like to go with me. In fact she keeps bugging me now to visit his brother:(. By the way, what's the qualifications in order to join in AD working party. My son is still immature, need a little push . I hope ur son and my son will talk and share it to my son . My son just bought an old car in Pensacola - that's a distraction for him - in my opinion coz right now he's always fixing that car , his funds in the bank is so low now. You know teenager thing.instead he has to focus to do something in order for him to be ahead of the schooling. Do u have any idea about the A school - who is the priority for A school? Is it the student will do a lot of volunteers or join in AD working party. Sorry Cristy, I have a lot of questions..:) I'm just wandering right now coz my son has no explains too or info given to us.

I told my son if he ask copy of studying materials for AD - from your son, if its okay to your son. How to join in AD working party? Is it the officer will choose who will be in AD working party? Hi Cristy, good morning! Thank you for the info. I heared about Gateaway Inside the base. It's nice near from them but I don't this hotel if we can cook or like a condo. In Navy lodge, I think we can barbecue . Oh ! Sounds good if they can start soon on their class. Hopefully , after , they will be in SD. I'm one of the happiest Mom....,if that will happen:) . Hi Cristy, yes, I spoke to my son last night. He said , he met your son. Im glad coz at least I knew somebody from Cali :)I'm going to ask him if he join the AD working party. I hope he will do it. It's hard when our son or kids been away. :( I miss him . He's the clown in the family. I hope you will find a job soon. I will include you and our sailors to my prayers. Hopefully we can go together and visit our son. :)
Hi Cristy, true. It's hard for us to leave them in Psacola . I'm so proud of him he made it in bootcamp but I'm a little worried in Pensacola coz same my son, love to go out. I think he's almost done in Phase3. Ayayyyyy! Too much freedom on weekend. Im hoping he can start soon for the class. Do you know how many students in class per batch? Every time I asked my son, always says, I don't know:(. He's tired of me, keep asking same question every time I called :). So you're son on page 1, then he was there on Jan 11, right? My son was arrived 3/2/14. I hope my son can start soon too. Did you tell your about the last name of son - Harwart . I think he's in 3rd floor.
