That's for sure. He sounds so great in the letter I received today. He is very ready to get out of there and head to Pensacola. He said all the guys he's friends with are going to Pensacola too.
I am stalking the mailman. I usually get letters on Tuesday! I am so excited for graduation. I can't believe how much i miss that boy. I couldn't wait for him to go! He was driving me crazy!! Careful what you wish for, right!!
I see you have joined your PIR group; I also invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
James is going to Pensacola. He will be an airman apprentice! Wow, I can't believe they are the same age and both going as apprentices! What do they train for at Great Lake school?
Look into the other groups. Just say you are new and everyone will welcome you. As insaid, really great bunch of women on here, all going through the same thing. I'm so thankful for the support. I would have fallen apart by now! Glad you found us!
Where is your son going after boot camp? Where is his A school?
Lets definitely keep in touch! You're so close! Isn't Toyota park in your town?
He was supposed to call this past weekend... No call, I'm worried they didn't do well last week. His division has been struggling from what he says. Guys not listening and such.
Oh jeez, I wish we could have gone to rosemont for the swearing in, we had to go up last Milwaukee!
Grayslake is right next to Gurnee... Do you know where great America is? I live 5 - 10 minutes from there
I live very close to Great Lakes... Maybe 15 minutes! The meet and greet is that close, too. I'm pretty certain I am going. Not definite yet. I haven't responded. My sister and my best friend are flying in from NJ Thursday the 14th for the graduation. There are a bunch of ladies on here that are going. I'd like to meet them all. We' e all bonded over the las few weeks!
Hi Robin! Take advantage of this site and the FB page. The support here is unwavering. Nobody understands on the outside. We are all going through the same thing and the exact same emotional roller coaster.
Are you going to the meet and greet?
This is just between you and me. They don't like any personal info going on the public forums and discussions. It's for the safety of the recruits.
We should meet for lunch! In guess we ate only about an hour apart.
Where is your son going after boot camp? How many calls have you gotten? Our div was promised phone calls if the did well during hell week and we got nothing... It was a tough weekend
