Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

All Hands Magazine's full length documentary "Making a Sailor": This video follows four recruits through Boot Camp in the spring of 2018 who were assigned to DIV 229, an integrated division, which had PIR on 05/25/2018.
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video:"Importance of Navy OPSEC."
**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).
**UPDATE 8/25/2022 - MASK MANDATE IS LIFTED. Vaccinations still required.
**UPDATE 11/10/22 PIR - Vaccinations no longer required.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass isno longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

I'm so sorry you missed your call. I would be heartbroken. But stay positive. Hopefully he will get another one. Earning one just for you! Don't beat yourself up about it! That will only bring you down
Yes he has been writing on Tuesdays and Thursdays now! He said that his locker smells good because of my letters! And haha yeahhhh I like drench them too! And yeahhh he has like 90 something letters now! When he first left I would write him 3 times a day...now I just write him twice a day! And I send him like random funny cards to just keep him smiliing!
Ohhh okay i was so confused and that deff cleared it up for me =D --- the only issue is thats finals week in college for me -__- so idk that really sucks -- i'll figure it out .. but thank you soo much =D
uhm i was thinking he would be graduating the 20th ?? but i cant be sure lol .. i asked him in a letter that i sent to him yesterday just to be clear. ALSO -- you know how in the groups that have graduation coming up, it has the divisions next to it. my boyfriends devision isnt on the 20th or the 13th so im not sure about that.
hey, i have a queston ... on the letters i got today my boyfriend said that his ship was 07 like your too .. but he wrote that his division was 171 ? do you know if they could be in the same shit but differen davisions ? or maybe he made a mistake? idk im really confused
My boyfriend is a exactly a week behind yours, so feel free to vent to me. His PIR is 5/27/11. I will not be there for that so I'm not sure when I will see him again. We got his address yesterday, so today I sent my first letter. I am looking forward to a letter back from him in a couple of weeks. I'm open to talk about anything. I'm here for you.
Everyday goes by a little faster! I almost of 4 weeks of BC under my belt! 4 weeks left and I will be in his arms again! My SR is signed for 6 years! It is so confusing how they decide that stuff! Stay strong and write him lots! I have written my boyfriend like 55 letters already...haha:]] He loves them! Spray them with a perfume you wear! My boyfriend says all the guys in his division are jealous because I spray mine and they smell good. Also send lots of pictures! Good luck girl! I am here if you need me!
