Welcome Back - We missed you!!

I have a question - Say, for example, I come across a discussion that has had a "party" involved - there are SEVERAL pages to go back and read!!! At the bottom, where the page numbers are listed, I can't always tell what page I am on. Is that something that I can fix - or can you? Sometimes, there is a box around what page you are on - but sometimes not!!! So, I know something can be done. Just is it me??

Truly, ordered the tank top and the sweatshirt from Cafe Press. I know others that have used them and have been pleased with the shipping/service.

Hey Joyce (In response to her comments on this page below) - that is because our administrator is such a great teacher!!!
She taught by example!!! (and some of you are quick learners)!! I usually peak and if they are not from Texas, I ignore them - sorry - I am a slow learner - BUT. . . I get to blame it on my ADD and therefore, I get modifications!!! Now, can I go get a drink of water???

Good Evening~!!!
I don't know if this is possible, but another mom suggested it to me. Since we are having get togethers both pre-PIR and in different states, we were wondering if there could be a "Reservations" tab at the top. We have posted blogs, but some people don't know to go to our pages and the blogs soon get bogged down - then they are bogged down blogs (that sounds like a country song).
We could put who was meeting and information and then people could sign up and it would all be in one nice place.

Just an idea -
Thanks,
Brenda

Hi, I just sent a message and it said that my comment had to be approved. I was replying to Lynn about going to the airport with our sailor who was grad and go. What did I do wrong? There was nothing controversial in my post. I love this site and wouldn't do that. Pat Leazenby

Hey Rita:
Whoa! I am a little confused by your tone with me! Personally, it doest matter to me if you have a major issue with the navy or not. (That is why we are here so you can find support and help from other mothers). What does matter is how you speak about and treat this community. From what I read publicly on the boards- both members were asking you to clarify your story. Because they are women that want to help- but need to understand the facts before they give advice. So yes. I will ban you if you continue to harass my members. If you are unhappy here- please leave. Sincerely, Catherine

I want to extend a personal invitation (gold embossed - if I was Shell) to attend our Texas Mom's group get together. I looks like it will be the last weekend in June at two places called Kema and Galveston. I am sure you have heard of Galveston but Kema is a cute, touristy city on the coast also. It is far for some - so we might have to change it.
We would love for you to come!!!!

Hi Catherine - just want to thank you for watching the back of some of my friends. I like the way you state things!!! You are wise for being so young. How much time a day do you spend on here? Do you have to read everything that is typed? Do you have help?

Catherine - just want to know that you have a special invitation to attend our get together - Everybody needs to come to Texas at least once in their lives!!!

Hello Texas Mom (and Texas Mom’s wanna be’s) -
I am going to start the planning stages of having a get together for all who can attend. It would really be fun to meet one another!!
I want as many as possible to attend. Therefore, I want to try to get the best time and city. Please go to my page to reply to the comment with the answers to the following questions.
(1) Location - I will get back later today with a run down of how many from each city. You could reply to this such as, “I live in Houston - but am willing to go to Austin” etc.
(2) Time - Weekend or weekday? - May, June or July? - please list specific times that you cannot attend - for example my family reunion is the 20, 21, and 22 of June.
(3) Ideas - especially if you live in one of the central cities (Houston or Austin). Do we just want a dinner together one long evening - attend an event - I would love to be able to participate in a parade on Memorial day together somewhere!!! HELP!!!! I really think just spending one long evening in a restaurant is fine and then we could go from there!!
(4) Any other suggestions - please list ideas!!!!
Just go to my page - “Brenda Bourque” and comment back - I am putting this in a blog on my page - Please comment back to the blog!!!!
Thanks, Brenda Bourque - Proud Mom of Derek who is heading to Guam - and all plans will be cancelled when he comes in!!!!
