Thank you so much tiffany. I am a plethora of emotions, proud, sad worried, etc. I look forward to being a member of navy moms. I am certain i will be on here quite often. My 18 yr old son leaves for meps on march 23 and then rtc on the 24, which is exactly 1 day before his 19th birthday. He currently is listed as a-pac, but his recruiter is meeting with us today to see if he can change to an actual job in aviation. Ah, so confusing! But it wil all be ok! :)

My son has just left for boot camp last Tuesday, we are very happy for him but sad at the same time.  It's hard not having any communication with him.  We just received his civilian clothing and cellphone and it was a bit sad....Waiting to receive information on his graduation so we can book out trip for it.

Thank you so much Tiffany!! I'm still trying to figure out N4M..My Son begins his journey in March at OCS. He is counting down the days! He graduated from college with a Professional Pilot degree and he's ready to fly for the Navy.. we are so proud of him!

Thank you again for everything!

Thank you, Tiffany! I'm still learning how to navigate N4M, I appreciate your warm welcome. I laready posted a blog but I thought I can quickly email you regarding my concern.

My son swore in last week after MEPS but he signed up for Fireman/Engineering/PACT position because his first preferred job (Information Tech) was not available. His recruiter said that MEPS will follow up this week and we're just crossing our fingers that it will.

We have our first meeting with his recruiter today and hopefully we have have a positive answer regarding the IT position.

Any thoughts, suggestions or advice?

I appreciate your time.

Thank you for the warm welcome. My son is in DIV 122 and will have PIR on March 27th. I miss my son so much. I am proud of my son but it still hurts not to hear him talk, see him, and most importantly hug him.   I have seen a picture of him on the bootcamp fb page aandit has helped me to see him. I pray that they put more pics on the fb of his division often. It helps my brain from wondering how he looks, and how he's doing. He looks good! Its more than I can say that I got to see that pic. Thank you again, Navyformoms.
