OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Hi Kim,

I just saw this invite.  Cedar is just up the Beltline, Wolverine or whatever you want to call it.  We should get together. Talk to me about the Blue Stars? - did I get it right?

jjaustin48@aol.com  Thanks for email note late Sunday night. Pls send info to my above address and shares yours with me if you wish. Agreed, can't take the kind of cold you had this year, didnt like ours too much either. Know exactly where Kennesaw is; we used to have a place on Lake Allatoona, my daughter still does. Hope to hear from you soon.

You have to edit your email settings. I wasn't getting them at first. Go to settings on the top right hand side of the screen then click the tab on the left that says 'Email' from there you should be able to control what does and does not come to your email as far as notifications go. I hope that this helps :)

Welcome to NavyforMoms.com.  My name is Ronny and my son has been in the Navy since February of 2012.  He is currently stationed in San Diego with a Helicopter Squadron.  He is an Aviation Structural Mechanic.  I hope you find all the info you are looking for here, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.  My son is 3rd Generation Navy, so I do know a little about the Navy..:)

If you have a new Sailor who is in Boot Camp, or leaving soon, visit CallsforRecruits.org and I will send you FREE Pre-Paid Phone cards for your SR to use while they are in boot camp.  I started that program when my son left for Boot Camp :)
Welcome Aboard and I wish your Sailor Fair Winds and Following Seas.
