OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Welcome to N4M's!!  I'm a friend of Spongie!!  Just want you to know we are here for you if you have any questions or just need a shoulder to lean on!!  Mine is finishing up this fall after five years!!  He is (was) a MA and went on about 4 or 5 deployments.  Shame, I didn't keep better records!!  Just a suggestion - buy a calendar and write down important details!!  Yea, and don't miss PIR if possible.  Have you found that group yet?  Those ladies will soon become your BEST friends!!

Welcome to NavyForMoms.com!!

I hope you get all the information here you are looking for.  Please stop by the Survival Guide for New Moms for some of the info to start with.
If you have a new Recruit and need phone cards for them please check out Calls for Recruits.org and get them for FREE.  I feel that the Family, Loved Ones, nor the Men and Women of our Armed Forces should have to pay for phone calls from Boot Camp.  The link above will take you to the website to send the email for the FREE phone cards if you need them.  Please spread the word if you know of anyone who can use this great service!!!

Hi Leora,

Your daughter will be amazing!  What courage!!! You must be so proud!  My son also arrived last night and sounded a bit rushed.  Someone  sent me some amazing photos of all the amazing opportunities they will experience.
