25 year old son will be swearing-in Thursday, December 9, 2010. He will report to OCS in Providence, Rhode Island Sunday, January 30, 2011. He was selected Navy Air. He wants to be a pilot. He does not have any family or close relatives in the Navy. This is a first military experience for our family. Born and raised in Marrero, Louisiana (New Orleans area). He is living in Woodbridge, Virginia (D.C. area). I do not know what to expect. He is ready and we are as ready as any parents can be. He graduated from LSU. Has a 19 year old brother attending LSU. His father and I wish the best for him.
