Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

A little about me:
I am the mom of four sons. My boys have played "Army" their whole lives, using their dads' military clothes. Therefore, it wasn't too surprising when my oldest son, Reece, started talking to a recruiter before turning 18. It was a little surprising that he chose...or was lucky enough to sign up as a Navy Medic! He left for bootcamp on September 7, 2010, and he has a huge family behind him, supporting him every step of the way!

Wow! Nowadays the Navy only accepts the very best kids! Glad my son is one of them!

I'm so happy you got all those letters! And I hope that call comes SOON!! My guy is doing good...he too has been playing "Army" his whole life! lol...his dad and 2 grandpas were Army so I was also surprised that the Navy won him over. He had a pretty realistic idea of what bc would be like...he has talked to anyone and everyone he could find about it! His best friend just finished up before he shipped out. I think he is most surprised about how homesick he is...he is my guy that is content to be home and with family/friends...small town, country kid! He sounds great though...his girlfriend and I both finally admitted that we call his phone just to hear his voice! LOL How is your son doing???
