OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

Hello... Thanks for requesting me as a friend! My sons name is Zac. I'm so glad our boys are liking Meridian so far, I was worried about the transition from boot camp to school, but all is well I guess. :). Did your son give you an address to send his clothes to yet?

Thanks for the info.  My son graduated on 06/07, and I don't have any access to those who are not getting mail.

Sorry I missed adding you as a friend - I didn't even see that I had a friend request. I read most of the blog on my Kindle Fire as emails. It doesn't let me comment or even see the whole site, and I'm away from my laptop a lot. SORRY!

Hope you're doing well! I'm holding up. It sure is a long time they're away, but so glad we have this site to keep us up-to-date!

Take care!
