Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Events

**UPDATE - 2020**

Due to COVID there is no public PIR. The graduations are on Thursday, and the video of the graduation is posted on RTC's FaceBook on Friday at approx 3pm. Please keep in mind that a division may need to complete additional quarantine during training which will delay their graduation.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

i received a real 15 minute phone call from my son, he sounded good, but I could tell that he misses us. He said they march 5 miles in the snow everyday. He said he needs us to write more.

Hi saylormom4, Matt took a phone card with him, and 1 book of stamps, but I'm sending more stamps, and another phone card. I think they can probably buy them up there, but not sure. When they call home, they use pay phones, so they do need them

Hello. My name is Donna, and my son Matthew and he is 18, & is in ship 07 div 052. From what I hear the div 051 & 052 train together, so there is a good chance they know each other also. Matt also seemed to be doing really well, after the first 5 minute call, but no letters yet.

Hi, glad to meet you! My son's name is Myron and he is 19 years old and his first time away from home. I beleive it's harder on me then him. He sounded very upbeat and said he liked it when we last talked, I can't wait to get the real call, should be sometime next week. I have been writing him every day! Do you know if we need to send phone cards for them to call home?
