What are you doing up at 12:53am?  You have school tomorrow!  I'm up because I can't sleep.  Too much on my mind.  Go to sleep with your sweet little boy's voice in your head.  :)

I'm sure you were relieved to hear his voice.  I look forward to the first phone call, too.  We've told Bob to call his girlfriend before he calls us.  She is really missing him.  At our age, we realize that eight weeks is a short amount of time, but to his girlfriend it's an eternity!  Besides, she'll call me and tell me every word anyway.

Oops!  They're on the same ship, not the same division.

Hey, BobbysMom.  I'm Bob's Mom from Raleigh.  Our young fellas aren't on the same ship, but I saw that you were from Lumberton.  At least NC is well represented.

Hi! My son is also ship 4 div 119. I have not received the letter yet but wonder if his PIR is the same as yours since in same ship and div. Was reading comments about ship 4 maybe being for the sick/injured and started to freak out especially since did not get a letter yet but sounds like does not mean they are sick.

We have a Survival Guide for Navy For Moms Newbie (clickable link). You'll find everything you need to get started. Videos, PDF files of boot camp processing days, links to all the important groups plus tips on how to use this site. Keep in mind the videos and PDF files may take some time to download the first time you try it. It'll look like nothing is happening. Be patient. Best part is it'll be here on your very own page as a reference. Click the MY PAGE tab on above menubar to access your page anytime - you should do it at least once a day to see if you have any postings on your comment wall (like this one). Good luck.

BunkerQB,
