OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Well I hope to have Friday and Saturday with mine. His A school is in San Antonio so he may be flying out on Saturday, but I hope his ticket is changed to Sunday lol. We won't know which day he flies out for A school until we get the "I'm a Sailor" call or even on the day of PIR. I have booked my hotel until Sunday just in case we get to spend Saturday with him as well.

Yea I'm not liking not being able to talk to my husband more. I feel so disconnected from him. I am so ready to be on the road to Great Lakes! Jan 18 can't come fast enough then I'll be going crazy for 2 days being so close to him but not being able to see him until the 20th lol.
