OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

You doing ok?  Feeling a little stressed here.  Booked at the Navy Lodge for 66.00 a night for two nights.  His PIR form letter says that he ships out the next day for out of state A school.  Yet I have read that if its on a holiday, like July 4th, sometimes they are allowed extra time.  Not knowing for sure, is stressful.  Sent out 3 letters today and 3 yesterday..this catches up the letter writing.  No one else wants to write.  And no one else can afford the trip.  I am not paying for everyone.  Lord.  Let me know how u are holding up.  Becky

Don't feel bad.  Been online for ten years and still feel like a fish outta water.  Glad to have your friendship. HUGS.  I am treasuring Derricksbox.  I had not intended to open it, but instead forward it to A school, however my daughter found it opened it raided it for his phone, and his ear buds.  The most important thing to me was the address.  I just came home from the post office and sent 1 letter and 2 cards.  They are numbered and letter number 2 goes out tomorrow.  lol.  There are already six letters written.  About two pages each.  Love ya and write me with your latest whenever!~ Becky
