MOAN...How are things going? I'm still trying to figure out how this whole site works. I read and get a lot of info. I don't post much. Has your son started his A school yet? I thought you said he started on June 11th. Does he like it? I heard that all the boys from BC have really stayed together and went to the movies the other day. I think that's nice. My son thinks he will start his schooling sometime next week. I hope so. I can tell he is ready to start doing something. Have you joined any other groups? If so let me know which ones are helpful. Thanks
THanks MomOfANuke!!! Praying all day tomorrow and Friday can't wait to hear his voice and then we leave Wednesday. Hope your travels are good on the way to PIR!!!
Yes we will be going to the meet and greet at Sundance saloon as long as my daughter and I make it to town on time, it will be a 9 plus hour drive from Mississippi with 4 kids under 6. Yikes!!! Hope to see you there!
Hi MomOfANuke! Sorry for delayed response, just swamped at home and work! Well it is already here - he reports to MEPS in a few hours and tomorrow am they do the "swearing in" and he flys out. My nefews was that afternoon so I wanted to not miss my sons, as he initially told me he already swore in and sorry we missed it as he did not know that day they would do that. But he has it right for what is happening now, I just did not trust as really did not want to miss it. We went out yesterday and all of a sudden he got quiet and serious and said he did not want to discuss anything on BC. He then asked us to meet him this evening when we had changed plans to spend yesterday together, had had dinner with my family the night before and he said we would just meet him Tues morning for the swearing in. But if he wants us there, we are going. It is not far, just had to change plans again and that is fine. I got upset when he did though so need to pull it together - he is off to an awesome new start of a life, got to remember that. So you are nearly there - PIR. That is exciting to know the date and that your child made it. Can't wait and will try to keep busy til then so I don't worry! Thanks for you reassurance!
