OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

We had one of those great kids too but was so bored with school, the Navy seems to be a good fit for him. Our son reported to boot camp - four days after his 21st birthday. He did not want to remember his 21st birthday being in...boot camp!

Hi, wanted to welcome you to AECF group. Is your sailor going to be an ET or FC after he graduates? Our son finished his C school in August and is now with with fleet in Hawaii. He is an FC. You will find the group to be very active and supportive. We look forward to hearing about your sailor.
