For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My husband is leaving now to the airport for BC
Anybody’s love one leaving today too? I feel extremely sad since yesterday when i dropped him off at the hotel. We been date for 13 yrs, married 2 yrs, and have a 10m old daughter together. By looking at her every single minute make me miss her dad so much, also feel so sad when he has to miss her 1st birthday, maybe first steps, first words... need some love and advices, what will be next?
What do i need to to as a spouse?
My first time posting here, 2nd day on here. Very new to the group!

Hi Kristy welcome to the group. I can extremely understand your Emotions with having baby and all. I suggest recording all new things that baby may do with dad being gone. Come join Boot camp for loved ones Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) I help out on there and there is much info. Just make sure that you keep phone close by tonight for the I'm here call. When will "The Box" come? **UPDATED ON 9/5/19**
Attention families and friends of RTC: Previously, upon arrival to boot camp, recruits would box up their civilian belongings and ship it to their choice of destination. Our new procedure now has those boxes being stored locally and will be returned to the recruits the day before graduation. The new procedure went into effect this week beginning with Div. 409 in Training Group 52.
**Your SR might want to be sure there is some charge left on their phone before they power it off for the 9 weeks or even consider taking a phone charger.

Always check your my Page someone may leave you a message, when someone Private messages you, you will have that in your inbox. If you need help let anyone know and we can guide you. This site will also help with info as far as Money wise.
When Will the Recruits be Paid? and Information for Spouses
to figure out your Husbands PIR date count 9 Fridays including tomorrow being 1. It could be the week before or week after depending if he gets there tonight and fills the previous group or if he has to wait to fill his Div. always wait for the form letter to get address and PIR date. The 25th or 28th will be your Husbands 5th Business day and his first PFA. if he passes then within 9-14 days you will receive form letter. this is where the site I gave you above will come in handy.

Hi Kristy - well you're in the right place! The boot camp group will be able to answer most of your questions for the first couple of weeks. Once you receive the form letter (9-14 business days) you'll know when his PIR (graduation) is and you can join the group for that. In the meantime keep your phone close by and answer ALL calls! Count 9 Fridays and you could be looking at a 12/13 PIR - but it could be a week either way so don't make any plans until you get that letter. To help the time go faster count Friday's rather than individual days. And remember, no news is good news!
Hang in there - and don't be afraid to ask questions!
