OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Event Description

Meet and Greet update for Thursday 04-20-23 CONGRATULATIONS.

Please take a moment and read this. If you would like to attend the meet and greet please RSVP at https://www.mynavytaxi.com/events.html  The address is 300 Lakehurst Rd, right behind the SpringHill Suites hotel. We welcome all our families who have journeyed together to celebrate your loved one’s accomplishments.

Most of you may, or may not know,  that my wife and I have been hosting the meet and greet for over 12 years now. We do this 48 times a year so our Navy Families can get together and meet with those on face book and Navy for Moms, who are in this journey together. We do not do this for profit,  we do it for you. Your contributions help us in paying it forward to the next meet and greet. My wife and I cover all the costs (from kind contributions and raffle sales from previous weeks) for the catered food, labor, cleaning expenses, and setup and breakdown of the room. Since 2011, we have provided over 276,000 meals for our new Navy Families. It is a nice way to meet other Navy families in a social party setting with those you met on face book or Navy for Moms. None of the food or labor is donated.

We are not a 501(c)3 organization, just a good old mom and pop American family giving back to those who raised a Hero to defend our Great Country.
If you are bringing a basket or gift bag for raffle, please download the form on our website at https://www.mynavytaxi.com/goodies.html  Alcohol is acceptable. Make the basket interesting so people will be willing to buy tickets to win your creation. Anything can be raffled including wines or liquors. Make it a fun basket or gift bag. Please refrain from canned goods as some winners may not be able to take them on their flights.

Seating is by division number. Two tables per division. The remaining seating, once your division table is full;  is open seating, first come, first seated. PLEASE RESPECT THE RESERVED SIGNS.

When you enter the lobby, please sign the guest roster, indicate how many attended,  and make a name tag with your first name and your sailor’s division number.
Finally - the buffet line will remain open until all the food is gone. The contribution box is located at the head of the buffet table. Beverages are provided at the bar for a reasonable cost. Please drink responsibly.PowerPoint Presentation can be found on my website www.mynavytaxi.com/goodies.htm
On behalf of Anchors Aweigh Transportation and my family, we look forward to seeing everyone this memorable night before graduation and I thank everyone in advance for your support.
God Bless the U.S.A

Regards, The Spadaro (aka Sarge) family.847-212-0246
