Hi everyone! I have a SR in Ship 02 Div 949, and was wondering if anyone else here does as well? Hoping to connect with someone in the same waiting game. How are you hanging in there? Have you received your Form Letter, or any personal letters yet from your SR?

I am actually still waiting on my form letter. I have no clue what ship or division he is in. How did you find out? Made it to boot camp 8/6

Mine called to say he made it safe August 6th early morning as well. I called his recruiter, and he gave it to me. They can access a system to see the recruits mailing address.

Wait on the form letter before you send letters.

The recruiter can not access my son's info because his information is still under the first recruiter and shit is no longer there.... Sigh.... I had no luck with the office...

You are within the window to be receiving the form letter any day now.

Not sure why my reply hasn’t gone through to you both. This is my fifth attempt.

Thank you lemonelephant for the tip. I missed reading that elsewhere. When I spoke with my SR on the phone, when he needed me to email a document, he confirmed the address, and I have already mailed out four letters so far. I guess I’ll wait on sending anymore, just in case they don’t have anyone trained on the mail delivery yet. Hopefully the past ones make it there.

I’m so sorry Maureen! I didn’t realize that could happen. Our SRs should be on training day 2-4 if I did the math right, which from what I’ve read on this site should indicate that letter forms should be arriving any day now! So very soon you’ll hopefully have that information. Our SRs arriving the same say I believe means we are in the same TG, yay.

I forgot that your recruit called. You can send letters as long as he passed his run.

I hope so!!! I'm hoping I get the letter soon. It would definitely ease my mind. I'm ready to send him letters
I have to say that I have definitely been a cry baby this time. My daughter has been in the navy 2 years now and this one is the hardest. I've cried everyday lol

Maureen, I left info for you on your My Page.

Thank you beautiful

You are very welcome and thank you for that.
