Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

If you would like information on your Sailor’s rating (job/occupational specialty) or field, then let me know the rating or field. I have info on all of the ratings and fields.

Take care and blessings to you and yours.

I hope things can work out for you this weekend!

NOLA-Mom - Prayers for you to rest in God's peace tonight. May he give you the wisdom and guidance to do what is right and to still be there for your sailor. We drove and so not already have a plane reservation and even our midway motel reservation until a couple of days beforehand, I think I would have been able to make the change to driving out to see my sailor at his A school.

But with flying and the potential of delays at A school - it is a hard call. All the best to you as you make your decisions. I don't think I would post them and comments posted to your page are just as visible as on the main BC Moms group. You can set your comments to be "approved" first and that way you can limit what is visible on your page.

Nola-Mom, please ask your son if he knows where he leave from and what time he is leaving when he calls you with I'm a Sailor call, he might know then. Then you can decide what to do, didn't want to state that where everyone might see it.

Thinking of you, I am very heart broken. One of our ladies from this PIR just got back from a month long trip to Europe and I was very nervous about that. I know it hurts tremendously but I want my son safe, that's more important than my broken heart. Hoping God lessens your aching heart.

Hi, Nola-Mom, that is so sweet of you to think of me. I wish I was a medium too but I am pretty round. There is no way I could get into a medium either, but thank you so much for the offer. Maybe if you bring it you might run into someone that it might work for. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness.

I finished your ribbons, I made one for you and one for your mom. They look like the PIR ribbons but of course I don't know any names so mine just say Proud Mom on one side and either the graduation date or Hooyah on the other. Your mom's saids Proud Grandma. I hope you can make the Meet and Greet. I put Northwoodsmom on my ribbon so hopefully we can cross paths. Are you getting excited? See you soon.

I am afraid to go on Facebook so I am only on this site, I wish we would have more too. Maybe someone should mention it on Facebook that we are here, perhaps they don't know about the site. Our PIR seems to be pretty small to start with. No I haven't found anyone in my son's division but I don't think it matters, after the 13th they are going to be scattered all over the place.  The Meet and Greet seems to be bigger. I heard they have a smaller one at the Ramada but heard the Old Sarge one is the best with alot of information. I am not sure if they have the ribbons for sale or not. The ones I am making has the date and Proud Mom or Dad on them. I would put the ship and division but don't know every ones. Don't know their last name either. I am just doing it to keep me busy otherwise I drive myself crazy.
