OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Flo! What a surprise...we have more than NHS band in common! My oldest son Alex enlisted earlier this month and will ship out in August. He will be in the nuke program and wants to be an ET. See you soon!

We haven't finalized our plans, yet. The ticket prices are still dropping. We are going to be staying at the La Quinta (we can stay free with our reward points). I am hoping to go to Sarge's meet & greet, at least. It will be my husband, myself, and our SR's girlfriend. I am SO excited to see him, but unfortunately, have to give him news that his great-grandmother died this morning. We won't tell him until after PIR, something we discussed before he left.
