Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Make change 3 at the bottom of OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) (clickable link). There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.

Since you have Sailor, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted." What is your Sailor's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools.

Congrats! How exciting! I am sure he is going to love the pics! I am really excited that you are receiving letters from him! I can't wait to hear all about their div! I hope they are doing good! It sounds like Div 32 is doing well, but I do not hear much about Div 31.

Since you have an SR at the RTC or soon will, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted." I invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) and to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) there. Take care and blessings to you and yours.

I have a page on my site (callsforrecruits.org) called navy boot camp day by day.  If you both want to read it, it might provide a little insight on boot camp.  I also have one for PIR weekend as well..:)
