Just waiting, nervous stomach , hoping he will stay strong.  I just received his "kid in the box-no kid" Had to laugh..as I was pulling out his clothes I only saw one sock.....my other son shook the pant leg then and the other dropped out.  Anxiously waited for his address.  The recruiter told me I would get it faster here.  Couldn'twait any longer.  Called my son's recruiter yesterday and sent him a letter.  Praying he will get it by this Sunday for his 1st mail call.

My daughter is in boot camp now.  She was sworn in on February 28th.  The hardest thing for me was waiting for the first letter but now I get one weekly.  This week we even got a phone call from her.  She is doing great, she even says how she is proud of herself and is pushing herself more than she ever thought she could.  She decided over her winter break from her freshman year at college to join the Navy and was gone within 6 weeks!  I am not sure how this website works because this is my first time using it but when I saw you were from Mass I decided to send you a comment...Good Luck and wish you future Sailor good luck, I believe this is the beginning of a positive life change for them and us!
