Today around 0900 I got my first call that lasted about 30 minutes. I had to be the happiest girl alive at that moment. Yes of course I cried in the beginning and he did also but im glad to say that it was a great conversation. It felt so good to hear the words 'I love you" come from him after a long 2 weeks. All the pain and tears I cried for these past 2 weeks all faded away all because of his voice. I am so proud of my Fiance. I miss him like crazy but today made me feel so good! I feel…

Tuesday he left and arrived at GL and we said our last goodbyes through text. I had felt that my whole life flipped upside down. Those 2 days I couldn't eat or sleep, all i wanted to do was throw up. Click on OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) and the Page will open in a new window. Read the Page and follow the directions at the bottom to make change 3 (see the words in bold) so that this page is no longer visible to ANYONE with access to the web. There may be other changes you need to make as well, so read and consider each of the changes.
Welcome to Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) for information on what to expect and to help you prepare for PIR. Start with OPSEC and PERSEC (Making Changes to Your Profile) and Arrival and What Happens at the RTC and read 1 or 2 pages a day and then go back to them as you need the info. What is your recruit's rating (job/specialty) going to be? There are groups for most ratings and/or "A" Schools and knowing that will help you to better plan for PIR weekend. Take care and blessings to you and yours.
