DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Oh wow, Jodie! I'm so sorry to hear you were sick, but very glad you are better. Take care of yourself, girl! And don't worry about what to wear to graduation. I'm sure that's the last thing Jacque will even notice. He'll be happy if you're in your pajamas! Hugs to you my friend.

Jodie! I got Chad's box today, too. I decided not to open it earlier and opened it about an hour ago. So nice to see his stuff. I just know things are going to be alright! I have you and your son in my prayers. Hoping that tomorrow you will feel a lot more upbeat. I have started walking to try and distract myself. We have had beautiful sunshine for two days so each day I have walked 2 miles. Hoping to repeat that tomorrow. I did join the gym, so I have thought about going at 5:00 in the morning. We shall see if I can make myself get off this computer. LOL Probably not happening but I will eventually get there!

Jodie, I know how you feel. My son is at the airport now and is waiting to board for Great Lakes. He called and sounds great, maybe just a little tired but knows they will not go to bed until tomorrow night at 8:00 p,m. So long night for them. I made up my mind if he is happy and can be strong then I have to. I cried all evening yesterday after dropping him off at the hotel and then cried so much at work just decided to come home. But by the Grace of God I am feeling stronger and will just keep on trying. Just know that I am praying for you and your sailor as well as Chad and myself. Chat with you later! ;-)
