Hi FutureSailorAO. Have a great career in the Navy. I will remove you as a friend. You need a woman talk to.

DEP has several forums on N4M. I went to group and typed DEP and this page popped up. Try it out. You can meet other DEP people and learn lots before you "Ship Out!"

We are friends, thanks. You can private message any friend and it is the best way to communicate in private. Never reveal your inner thoughts in general conversations, like this one. I just wanted to get the ball rolling on N4M for you. There are members here with loads of experience that can help you with anything. Don't forget to tell your Mom and Dad about this site.

Welcome FutureSailorAO. I am a Dad on NavyforMoms (N4M). It must be exciting for you. I looked at your date to ship out and I guess you wrote 8 Dec 13. In the military, life seems upside down. Acronyms are used more than you ever would have guessed. So look around for Navy Speak. I was in the Air Force so I had to learn that too.
Physical activity starts now. Start running, doing pushups, chinups and hickups if you need it. Have someone show you how to march and stand at attention. Those are the things that stand out as military when you first get in.
The opportunities are endless in the Navy for women. What ever you want to do is at your fingertips. Have a great time.
