OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

One more suggestion. Change your Privacy settings to either Members or Just My Friends--anyone with web access can visit this page as you have it now; after the change, only members or Friends can see what is here. (Click on Settings in the upper right and then Privacy in the upper left of the next page.) Blessings to you and yours.

Welcome. Your Username appears to contain your last name. If so, you may want to change it AND your web address so they do not include your last name to keep everyone safer. See http://www.navyformoms.com/group/newmomsstophere/forum/topics/if-your-user-name-contains to tell you how to do BOTH. Blessings to you and yours.
