Attached is a table (in Excel format) that shows the different locations for "A" School and the Ratings at them. It also gives different groups by name that are associated with them. Please let me know if I need to add a group for a rating and/or location or if I have not indicated the correct information about training.
(Click HERE to go to the Attachment.)
(Table updated 11/29/2019.)
I know there is another way to post it so that it shows, but I haven't figured it out. Click on the Attachment and then you can click on the links you are interested in.
Although I try to keep the table current, I suggest that you double-check within the group for your Sailor's "A" School or rating to be sure that the info is still accurate. If you find an error, please let me know so that I can correct it. Thank you.

Another site you may want to look at to get information on the different ratings is Navy COOL (Credentialing Opportunities On-Line), an official Navy site. The site has updated Rating Information Cards for each of the ratings. Go to https://www.cool.navy.mil/usn/index.htm and then click on Enlisted Search in the middle of the page. You can then select a Rating in the top drop down box and click Go. I have added the links for each rating in the table above. I noticed that some ratings have Apprentice Technical Training (ATT) at GL after PIR and that is not included in the Navy COOL links, but I have included that info in the table when I know about it.

lemon - If you could, can you also put the following link directly under Corry Station, Fl (Cell A48). This group provides the most up-to-date information about Corry Station since we only work with Corry Station. Thanks...
Cryptology ~ CTI ~ CTM ~ CTN ~ CTR ~ CTT ~
lemon - Sorry about that, that was actually a typo. I meant to say the group under Pensacola Fla, cell A96. Most families know their sailors are going to Pensacola, but have know idea about Corry, which is on a totally different base compared to NAS Pensacola.
It's just like the Pensacola group being listed in the Corry section (A47), it just links them back and forth....
Just trying to help the family members...
Hi My son just left today for boot camp. I think he should be graduating the 1st or 2nd week in September too. How did you get a picture of your son in uniform? Is that him? O sorry that was a very old post not familiar with this site yet thought the comments were curent
I will answer since that is an old post you are replying to. Your SR will have photos taken in week 4 of training and he or you can buy them, There will be info about photos in your PIR group, such as this one, Navy Graduation Photos, The Keel, and PIR DVD (clickable link).
Is this information current as of 24 DEC 2012? Would this apply to Navy female RP?
Thank you,
RD
Yes, as far as I know, the info is accurate. I update the table when I find a new group or discover errors.
You may want to join the group, Religious Program Specialist.
Since your wife is currently at the RTC, you may also want to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Moms (we accept all loved ones), PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here. There will be a lot of great information and support for you in those groups as well as in the PIR group. Be sure to check out the Pages (found under the pictures of the Members) and Discussions within the groups.

how do i find the discusion group for a school in maridian mississippi?
proudflamom - The reason you can't find it is because you spelled it incorrectly. It's spelled "Meridian"...
