OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please pray for this Marine and his family.  Just found out from a  Military News Release from another Navy Mom, that a U.S. Marine on board the USS Essex has gone missing overboard yesterday on August 9 in the Sulu Sea somewhere in the Pacific.  A search and Rescuse Mission began immediately and is underway involving the U.S. Navy Aircraft, Marine Corps, and Philippine Coast Guard.  Please pray for this family, as they have been notified.

Hello Everyone,

To all who lost a fur-baby, fur grandbaby this past weekend, my condolences to you. I too, lost Blue, a bundle of energy and joy. He was a fur granddoggie for me. Belonged to my second son and his family. My grandson is blaming himself because he let him out. Whoever hit him did major damage to their car but kept going. The house is not the same.

JayDee659, Prayers for your niece that everything they are trying, finally kicks in and gets her on the road to recovery and out of the hospital, back to some semblance of normalacy.

NAMN, so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Grand-doggie. The pain is real, as they ARE MEMBERS of our family, and after having them for so long, the loss is devestating.  Prayers for your DIL and son to move forward and lean on each other for comfort. Having recently lost 2 of our fur-babies of 14 and 16 years, I can relate.  It’s not easy.  (((HUGS)))
