JP will finish school right after he returns back to GL after his Christmas leave. He will be home 12/19-1/2. I can't wait to have him home for a couple of weeks. :+)

Merry Christmas everyone! Christian is doing fantastic in A school, on Friday he was awarded OS/QM A School Best of the Best Honors! Based on classroom/test, inspections, and interviews! We are so proud of him! He's so ready to get out of Great Lakes though. He doesn't mind the snow and cold but does not like the winds that come off Lake Michigan. Christmas blessings to all! Don't forget to wear your Navy gear on Saturday! GO NAVY, BEAT ARMY!!!!! BOO YAH!!

OK everyone, the Navy vs Army game is this Saturday December 12. Here it is coming on CBS channel at 2:30pm.

We have to watch for our sailors in the go Navy picture.

H hasnt started school yet but he seems to know that he will complete school in February!!!! Wonder when he will get his orders? My niece who started the Navy adventure about a month before H is leaving for Japan on Monday....Can you believe how fast it moves now---when they were in BC it seemed like it took forever to move forward!!!

I don't know. I googled the ship and went to their website. So that's all I know about the ship is what's on their site. He should be on the ship for several years and will go where ever it goes...

He doesn't finish school until January. But they all got their orders already.

Brandy that is a cool story. As for H he is still waiting for A school to start---your son moved through fast!!! Is he still happy? Do you have his current address---can you give it to me--sharoncede@yahoo.com--I would like to send him a christmas/thank you card!!! love ya sharon

My son just got his orders yesterday. He will be going to the USS Fort McHenry LSD 43 home port Little Creek VA. Kinda funny, but he will be stationed about 20 minutes from where he lived for his 1st 4yrs of life. Even more funny, I was stationed there (security/Pass/ID) at Little Creek when I was pregnant with him. Just thought I'd share.

Got The Keel in the mail today.....nicely done, but why so few pictures of our kids divisions? When my hubby was in the pics from start to finish were of his company. Guess with budget cuts everywhere it's easier to do it the way they do it. Have great weekend y'all. Safe travels for those who are on the road, in the air for Thanksgiving.
