Thank you God for the safe travels for 3 days while working a vendor show across the river. And thanks for providing an inventor with GPS.

Please pray for my daughter in BC arrived 11/10...now supposedly her ex-boyfriend has joined the reserves and is headed to GL today. For proctection, binding of the enemy and no distractions. I know Father God nothing is too difficult for you and I know that your men & women in command are looking over our recruits and making sure that they follow the rules. Appreciate this group. Thanks my fellow Navy Sisters! Amen!

Praying God for the pilot who is lost in Alaska. You know where he is & we ask you to protect him & bring him home safe. Also, please be with my son, Allen. He is having a very hard time this time being away from his family, Lord. Please give him strength & comfort to make it through the next 6 mths til he is back home with his family. Give me strength to make it through this day at work. Be with my family, friends & those here & in the military. Jesus name, Amen.

So glad to have KathyMRmom with us too. Enjoy your recruit as he prepares for boot camp.
Navyfam, yes, our sailor has been in the Navy since June of 08. He is out in his submarine right now.

Hi! New to this group, but glad to have found it and have the ability to know others concerns and praises so they may be lifted up.

Carol - that song reaches my heart as well, and I think it's for all of us! Even when our kids have it pretty easy, they still experience heartbreak or difficult times. My son is strong now, and preparing for the Navy (DEP right now), but I remember a time when he was bullied terribly. He wrote this poem in 6th grade:

The boy walks alone
He has no friends to play with
Yet, he is happy.

I cried when I first read it but when I tried to talk to him about it, he pointed out that I stopped reading after the first two lines. Silly me. I knew then that my pleading prayers for his happiness were already answered!

Though he stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds
him with his hand. Psalm 37:24

Thanks to all of you for being here.
